Your use and purchase of products from this site is governed by the terms and conditions set out below. We may at any time make changes to this site and details displayed on it (including prices)
Terms and Conditions of use:
1. Prices and Payment:
The prices for goods displayed for sale on this site, are Giles & Posner prices and are inclusive of VAT plus delivery, and any such additional charges are clearly displayed where apply. Prices displayed are valid and effective only in the United Kingdom.
Giles & Posner cannot accept your order until you have paid in full. Upon payment, we will confirm acceptance of your order by email which will be sent to the email address provided on your order details. Whether or not you receive the email our acceptance of your order will create a legally binding contract between us. We reserve the right not to supply you at our discretion.
Credit and Debit Card Payments; All card payments are processed by Giles & Posner.
2. Your right to cancel your order:
You may cancel your order at any stage before the goods have been dispatched to you.

3. Our returns and refunds policy:
If you are not satisfied with the order you have received from www.gilesandposner.com you may return it to us within 28 days of delivery. We will exchange or refund any unused items returned to us, as sold in their original condition with the sales invoice received with your order.
Exchange and refunds. If your goods are incorrect, faulty or damaged on delivery we will exchange the product or issue a full refund to you including delivery charges.
If you are not satisfied with the goods for any reason we will exchange or refund any unused items as sold in their original saleable packaging to you including delivery charges. The collection of the goods will be arranged through our nominated delivery carrier and the cost of return will be at your expense.
Refunds will be paid within 14 days of receipt of the return order.
How to return orders. Call our customer service team on +44 (0)1923 234040 they will arrange for the collection of the unwanted goods. Calls are charged at national rates, lines are open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
4. WEEE Regulations
Giles & Posner Ltd is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us. For full information please go to http://www.gilesandposner.com/weee-statement.html
5. General:
We shall not be liable to you where performance of any of our obligations to you is prevented, frustrated or impeded by reasons by act of god, war and other hostilities, civil commotion, accident, strikes, lock outs, trade disputes, acts or restraints of Government imposition or restrictions of imports or exports or any other cause not within reasonable control of Giles & Posner.
If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law all other parts of these terms and conditions shall not be affected and shall remain in force.
To the extent permitted by law Giles & Posner except no liability for any loss damage or injury arising as a consequence of the advice provided.
These terms and conditions and any contact between us shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with English law and the English courts shall jurisdiction over any dispute between us.
In these terms and conditions-
'Giles & Posner' means Giles & Posner Ltd and any other connected organisation that supplies the goods ordered by you and any successor of its business;
'We and Us' means Giles & Posner Ltd either alone or together with you, as the context requires;
'Working day' means everyday of the year except weekends and English statutory holidays;
'You' means the person ordering goods subject to these terms and conditions;

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payments via WorldPay and PayPal. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

At Giles & Posner, we want you to be completely happy with every product you buy from us. That's why we manufacture to the highest possible quality and also offer you a comprehensive guarantee and returns service.
Returns Policy What to do if your Giles & Posner product develops a problem during the warranty period. If you bought it by mail order or online from another company: Please contact the mail order company or go to the site you bought it from for instructions on how to return your product for a replacement.
If you bought it from a retailer: Please return it to the retailer with your receipt and you'll be given a replacement.
Unwanted purchase? Here's how to return it
If you bought it online direct from here: As long as your product is as new, completely unused and in its original packaging, we're happy to give you a refund if you buy a product from us and then have second thoughts. You can return it to us with its documentation within 14 days of purchase.
If you bought it from another organisation: Contact them to check their Returns policy and follow their instructions.
Guarantees Every Giles & Posner product is designed for reliability and trouble-free use. It's guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase against mechanical and electrical defects as long as you've used it purely for the use stated, following the instructions in its User Guide using a suitable electricity supply and you haven't dismantled, interfered with it or damaged it.
What is covered? We cover any defect in materials or workmanship to assure you get the best possible quality. What we do for you If your Giles & Posner product is defective or you are not totally satisfied with the quality of our workmanship, you may return it within 10 working days of purchase date and we will replace it or give you a full refund.
If you want to return it after 14 working days, we will repair or replace your product at our discretion. Please note: you will need to pay all the shipping costs to and from us. In some cases, to give you the fastest and simplest solution, we may send parts to you by post if they are easy to fit yourself.
Popcorn Carts Our 4oz and 8oz popcorn makers are covered by a 12 month back-to-base warrantee. Should your product develop a problem, just get it back to us and we will repair or replace.
Commercial Product Guarantees Every Giles & Posner Commercial Fountain is covered by a 2-year extended worldwide parts warranty and a 12-month labour warranty (UK only) from the date of purchase.
Limitations: Implied warranties including those of fitness for a particular purpose and merchantability are limited to the period the first purchaser owns the product. We are not liable for time lost, inconvenience and loss of use of your Giles & Posner Chocolate Fountain or property damage caused by failure to operate or any incidental or consequential damage.
